Otter East Bakery & Deli in East Middlebury is the sister store to the renowned Otter Creek Bakery & Deli in downtown Middlebury.
Dedicated to creating delicious food, our highly skilled team led by Pastry Chef, Nicole Green will have your mouth watering with an array of items ranging from croissants and hand pies to sandwiches and savory specials. With divine food made from scratch every day right in our kitchens and bakery, we are known for our corn scones, classic pastries, locally sourced product, top selling Vermonter sandwich and delicious options for everyone.
We offer Breakfast, Lunch, Baked Goods, as well as a variety of Mercantile items.
Due to the COVID-19 virus, our DINING ROOM is not open for now, to keep you and our team safe and healthy. We are not open for dine in right now, but you may come in to select and/or pick up your items. To order online, off our menu, click on the product options on the website’s Home page. We’ll be adding items, hours and space in the coming weeks and months, so stay tuned and please let us know about any requests or suggestions.
At Otter East, our community has always been at the heart of everything we do. Last week, a fire caused significant damage to our bakery and deli here in Middlebury, and we will need to close our doors while we rebuild. We are deeply grateful to the first responders whose quick actions kept everyone safe, and to our incredible Otter East staff for their strength and dedication during this difficult time. Most of all, thank you to our loyal patrons for being part of the Otter East family. Your support means the world to us, and we look forward to welcoming you back with fresh-baked bread, deli favorites, and warm smiles as soon as we can reopen.
